This violin displays exceptional workmanship, and is a very comfortable and enjoyable instrument to play. Below the extended pegbox, it features a widened neck and fingerboard, which allow a standard spacing between strings at the nut, and the bridge. The back is well flamed, with the ribs and neck similarly figured. The top is of a medium grained spruce, and it's finished with an oil varnish of an antiqued amber-brown color.
